In 1957-8 I was stationed at Laon Air Base and spent 3 out of 7 days in Paris on leave. I met a lovely young student and obviously she practised her English on me and friends at Cafe Dome on Rue Montparnasse. She was kind enough to show me around some historical places and tho it was 52 years ago I remember her fondly. She told me her grandfather was the artist and that during WW11 her home was used by high ranking german officers as their own. Her address was 7 Rue de Medici, Paris. Hope that helps and if you ever hear where she is I would love to phone her. Thanks, Tom D
