Yes, we were in touch some years ago by snail mail. If you would like me to send you the data you sent me please let me know if you would like it by snail mail (the address I have for you is 18 St Johns Rise) or by e-mail. Please let me know which you would prefer and give me the address if appropriate.
I still have not found the link between your branch of the Delamonts and mine, but as they were in adjacent parishes I am sure there must be one.
As to the origins of the Delamonts, I haven't found anything to prove that they were Huguenots. There was a Guilliaume Delamont who lived in London and was naturalised in the early part of the reign of Henry VIII, but that was well before the Huguenots and there is nothing to prove that he was anything to do with the Delamonts in Somerset.
In fact I have done a lot of looking for Huguenots in Somerset and found practically none. There were some who passed through, but I have found none that stayed.
I would be very interested to have the information you have. If the address is not displayed on this message, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org (and I would be grateful for an e-mail via genforum as the hotmail account is the one I use for public consumption, not my private account so I don't check it every day).
