Thanks immensely Sara.

My interest stems from researching both my Mother's line and my Step-Father's line.

My Mother's maternal line is Partridge and she remarried a Delamont. I was working on their respective family trees concurrently, and struck a point where they both had ancestors in Hardington/Mandeville.

Given that it was a remarriage out here in the Colonies, and about a couple of hundred years down the track, I found the 'six degrees of separation' theory a very tempting road to go on.

I'd be happy to here of any connection that might place Richard, his father Moses and grandfather John (Partridge) into the mix!

Thanks again!

Sharon
