Thank you so much for your post. I am so sorry to hear about Ann Sandra Delano-Hopkins death. Inexplicably, my Uncle Eddie's daughters have been on my mind. It is sad that I was unable to connect with her but I very much appreciate your telling me about her family. You mention that you sent me an email -- I only received the posting from the Gen Forum. If you wish to write me out of the forum my email address is delanocath@aol.com. I am wondering how you are related to Ann.
Can you tell me if her children took care of her and if she had a close relationship with her sister April? You mention the two girls (Ann Sandra and April) were raised by their mother, Linda Neal Everette -- what about the older daughter -- Eddye? Should I assume she was on her own? I will explore their age differences as it might explain it. I have had some wonderful correspondence with Lori Leon (outside of the forum) who is a descendent of Eddye's and she has done much research on her family but also had many unanswered questions. I will let her know of your sad news.
I thank you so much for responding to my inquiry. I will try to connect with Ann Sandra’s children. I am just amazed at the strength of the Internet to connect lost family ties but I am so very sorry that I had not tried to make contact before it was too late.
