Dear All,

Nancy Hanks's gfather, John, married Mary Delano. ca. 1734 in Pembroke, Washington Co., ME. See copy from Lincoln genealogyc.com

John Hanks from genealogy.com, re: Lincoln genealogy
He married twice. He married Sarah EVANS in Pembroke, Wash, ME, 16 Jan 1734. Sarah was born in Pembroke, Wash, ME about 1714. Sarah was the daughter of EVANS. He married Mary DELANO in Pembroke, Wash, ME, 16 Jan 1734. Mary was born in Pembroke, Wash, ME about 1710. This individual has the following other parents in the Ancestral File: Benjamin /HANKS/ (AFN:4S0H-QM) and Abigail /HANKS/ (AFN:9N1B-Z5)

John HANKS and Mary DELANO had the following children:

child 25 i. Nathaniel3 HANKS TWIN was born 22 AUG 1737 OR 27 AUG 1737.

child 26 ii. Chloe HANKS TWIN was born 22 AUG 1737 OR 27 AUG 1737. She married Thomas ADDITION. Thomas was born about 1737.

John HANKS and Sarah EVANS had the following children:

child 27 iii. John HANKS was born in Pembroke, Wash, ME 25 Dec 1739. He married Abigail SAMPSON. Abigail was born about 1739.

child + 12 iv. Joseph HANKS was born about 1740.

child 28 v. Nathaniel HANKS was born in Pembroke, Wash, ME 21 Aug 1741."

Joseph was Nancy Hanks, Lincoln's mother's father. Is this the same FDR Delano family? I assume it is.
