There was Joseph E. C. Delchore in the 63rd Enrolled Militia Missouri Infantry formed 1864 to oppose Sterling Price's Confederate forces; could Delchore be a spelling variation of your Delcour? Many men in the 63rd came from south central MO including Wright Co. with roots or branches in NC and TN. In the same 63rd, there were also Ferdinand Bray who eventually went to CA, Benjamin M. Bradshaw, William Campbell, James B. Kelley, Israel Marris/Morris, John Marris/Morris, James A. Newton, George Ray, Joseph M. Ray, Robert Ray, Samuel Ray, Temple Ray, Peter C. Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Preston Rowland, William Russell, George White, Jefferson White, Joseph G. Young, and William Young. Hoping that some of the men connected with the families you are researching.
