Dear Karin,

I recommend you to look on "my" site http://worldconnect.rootsweb.web/~phakze. Klaas de Leeuw is in fact a Haxe: for a still unknown reason the descendants of Luyte Jans Haxe changed their surname Haxe in Leeuw (= Lion), later on De Leeuw (The Lion) and in the USA DeLeeuw.
Karin, I'm very curious to know how you are related to Willem (William) DeLeeuw and Klaas de Leeuw and who your parents and siblings are, so please contact me!

Peter Hakze,
Almere, Nederland.

P.S. Since two weeks I'm corresonding with Betty DeLeeuw and her son Kevin Caperen, also descendants of William DeLeeuw.
