DeLeon, Ohio, Staten Island, Massachusettes

I am looking for any information on the Deleon family that may have lived in Ohio, moved to Staten Island and then to Melrose, Mass in the early 1900s. My g-grandmother was Lucille DeLeon married to Warren Sargent. Lucille had an older sister named Selma who did at the age of three in Staten Island from diptheria. Lucille and Selma were daughters of (David) DeLeon and Margaret LeCraw. I have been informed that DeLeon was a name change for (David, my grandmother does not know why it was changed. The original name may have been Buffum/Buffam, etc. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!
