Did anyone in the DeLeon family know that there was a Gitto DeLeon born in the year 970? Gitto DeLeon had two sons. Their names were Wandril and Richard. Gitto gave Wandril a township as a manor in Courcil, France. Wandril took the name of his manor and then became the lord of Courcil and was then known as Wandril Courcil. Wandril had a son named Roger De Courcil. The name De Courcil later became the name Churchill.
