Hagen Lee Delk was my 7th cousin twice removed. He is a descendant of Roger Delk who died ca. 1635 in Virginia.

PERU, Ind. - Hagen L. Delk, 54, 5485 U.S. 31 South, Peru, died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1989, in Saint Joseph Hospital & Health Center, Kokomo.
Born Oct. 6, 1934, in Jamestown, Tenn., he was a son of Everett and Mattie (Voiles) Delk. July 1983 he married Diana Smith Chaney, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Hagen Delk Jr. of Virginia, Daryl Delk, Rex Delk and Dan Delk, all of Houston; three daughters, Tina Thigpen of Rosenberg, Texas, Terina Delk of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Tami Longino of Corpus Christi, Texas; three stepsons, Dean Chaney of Indianapolis, Mark Chaney of Bunker Hill, and Troy Chaney of Swayzee; a stepdaughter, Angle Chaney of Kokomo; two brother, Stanford Delk of Denver, Colo., and Benton Delk of Jamestown, Tenn., two stepbrothers, Wendell Stephens and Darrus Stephens, both of Muncie; four sisters, Geneva Popplewell, Willie Beaty, Oradene Wilson and Charlotte Burris, all of Muncie; and nine grandchildren.
He was a civil service engineer at Grissom Air Force Base and was a retired master sergeant in the Air Force. He was a member and past master of Masonic Lodge at Miami, Ind. He also was a member of Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, the Miami County Shrine Club, Miami Count Past Masters Association, and Fraternal Order of Police.
Services wil be at 10 a.m. Monday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home in Peru with the Rev. Sam Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Masonic services will be a 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
