Hi Deb ,
I first thought the name Delkey may have been a simple transcription error , ( from Delker ) , and since a lot of early census and marriage records were handwritten and thus prone to errors in trying to read these records . And I first tried finding the surname in the 1870 and 1880 census , but couldn't find anything . Next , I tried the 1900 U.S. census report , and a ton of Delkey family showed - up . And I even had a hint that the surname was from Belgium . I also tried finding the records for Henry Clay Miller and Elida Delkey , but I'm sorry , I couldn't find anything on either or for your family members . Thank - you for writing and feel free to write again anytime , Bill Delker... ...
