Hello Geoffrey My grandfathers name was Henry Delmore and he came from Boston U.S.A and he married a Mary Corrigan from Ireland and came to live in Australia.Delmore is a very uncommon name in Australia and we did not know any other families of the same name. Like you, we understood it was of Italian extract and it was not until today when I logged on to Genforum genealogy that I discovered that it may be of Irish ancestry. My father Alan was the only son in his family,I believe that he had at least two sisters,so I am having a little difficulty tracing any family here. I am just commencing research into my family history and would appreciate if you have any details of any members who may have come from Boston or nearby areas. Pauline Fischer
