According to the Delo genealogy I have, George Michael Delo was my ggg grandfather - I have history listing the tree as George Michael, Henry born 3/2/1824, Michael born in 1850, Henry born 10/19/1879, Lyle born 02/23/1906 and myself born 3/25/38. My information also states that George Michael's father came to America in 1735 and was killed by Indians before George Michael was born. His mother went to live at the fort where he was born. This was supposedly near Washington Pa, 30 miles NE of Whelling Pa. I have always heard there was a Fort Delo in that area. Are you familiar with it? I have more details concerning the arrival if you are interested.
