Hi Janet,
My Dad ,William E. DeLoe, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles E. DeLoe and Caroline Hargett DeLoe. Charles E. was born in Washington, D. C. and it is reported he was a printer by trade. There is a Paul DeLoe in Tucson, Arizona, that had a geneolgy book about the DeLo family and I thought that the only fit for my grandfather was the Charles DeLoe listed born in 1886 in Washington, D. C. , that there was no additional information about. We have always spelled our name D-e-L-o-e and I was unfamiliar with the different possible spellings of DeLo and Dillow. I will get back on the geneology trail and see if I can determine more about my grandfather and relocate the DeLo book and write you further. It seems a Pierre DeLo came to America and is the person all the DeLo's are descended from. I am eager to learn more and search for connections. Best regards, Teri
