thank you so much for the infor you gave me. my 3rd cousin doesn't think this is our line but i do
how many theodocia's can there be.any way is there any way you can find out if any of these people were black? we are white and have found out that the first theodocia was 1/2 black. i find it so interesting and would love to know for sure and what plantation and slave owner i would be traced back to. i know my great greatgrandmother was theodocia and she named one of her children theodocia( my greatgrandmother) i do know she had a sibling named abby so abigail fits. and generation2 i know i had a great uncle named clyde deloach and i do believe his dad was cleve, or clyce clyce wasn't listed but could have been a son to one of the other deloach boys. if you can help please do.
any way my cousin said that the theodocia spence was not black i don't know how she knows but i would like to know for sure
thanks anyway you have been a great help
