My problem is I have tried to find them in the census 1860 and can't. I know that Washington's widow, Frances DeLoach Malone md. in May 1847 to William Tisdell. I find three marriages for W.H. the son William H. in the 1857-1865 time frame-did first two wives die, or what? James Drury married Louisa C. Malone 29 October 1865; and Matilda Frances either married a Thomas or George Woodard on 12 January 1860. It appears in 1856 that James D. was born in about 1843 and was the youngest.

So where is Drury, married Elizabeth DeLoach? Do you know. I have looked for Frances in census 1860 in the Tisdall/Tisdell household so will search again.

The land warrant of Washington establishes that in 1836 he served in the Creek War with what seems to be his brothers...another researcher gave me papers on them for the book files, and she is not related but has done the research for someone else. Enlistment was in Washington Co., Alabama.
