According to oral history....Joseph Xavier Delorme was born 1879 to Charles Delorme, Burlington VT. He married Agnes Katherine Hamlin. They were members of St. Josephs in Burlington. Joseph had brothers David, Eugene, Chales, and sisters Rose and Anna. Joseph died in 1950, and Agnes died in 1922 at the age of 40 or 41.They had moved to Whitehall in 1915. Joseph worked at the bottling works in Burlington, and was a hack or race horse driver. The family moved to Whitehall to work in the silk mill, as did many who moved to Whitehall at that time. Their children were Evelyn, Florence (b1892), Alice Marion, Katherin, Edward, and Arthur.

This part is sketchy. Agnes Hamlin's father was Oliver? born in 1805 and died in 1909 at the age of 104. He may have had a son Roy, involved in gambling in Glens Falls. Oliver Hamlin had been married twice, and the story was his first wife was native American.

I also have a name Turfeel or Tufeel, but am not sure how that is connected.

That's what I have on Delorme or Delor Delamay
