I don't know if this is of any revelance to you, but there is a Delorme family from the area of Turtle Mountain in North Dakota, and in the Metis rolls in Montana. The Turtle Mountain family is part of the Chippewa or Ojibwe tribe in NDakota and in MN. An ancestor of mine was a Marguerite Desjarlais in MN and, although she is too far back to be a close relative of yours, I do have some information about a Desjarlais family which was related to a Delorme family in MN and NDak. Let me know if I can be of any help to you. If you think you are related to the Turtle Mountain family, I know there is some information on the web, but since it wasn't directly relevant to me I didn't bookmark it. Sorry
