The Canadian Delormes originated from a Jean Fafard born in Evreux, France and his son Francois Fafard dit Delorme and his wife Marie Richard are our ancestors. In the group there are some that married native women. Francois was born in France in 1630, and married on Nov 11, 1656 in Trois Rivieres, Canada. WE are now trying to have all the brothers and sisters of all the generations as WE know that their children travelled between Detroit and Montreal, as Coureurs de Bois and some were interpreters for the King.
