I need a little more information to go on. Where in the states did your family settle? Do you have dates (years at least)of birth, and possibly one more generation earlier.
The only Edgar Delzer that I have was born in 1922 to Gottlieb Delzer in Freeman, South Dakota. I don't have an Edgar as the son of Christian Delzer, SR. born in 1838. There aren't that many Delzers, but maybe we can find the line.
