I am very interested in your discussion about the Demaid family.
I have 2 Demaid links in my family history.
Mary Ann Demaid was born in Thorpe le Soken in c. 1812 and married Samuel Keeble. She was my ggg grandmother.
Martha Demaid (possibly her sister) was born in Thorpe in c. 1815 and married Edward Carter, my ggg grandfather's brother.
I don't know anything else about them.
