Hi Andrew,

Yep, it's confusing. I have a John DeMarce, which was anglicized from Jean Demers in Canada - more confusion! My John DeMarce/Jean Demers married Marie Charest/Sherette. They were from the Laprairie/Napierville Counties in Quebec. They had two daughters, Marie-Emelie/Amelia and Virginie/Virginia, who married the Boucher brothers, Cesaire/Cesar/Silas and Celestin/Sylvester in Watertown, NY. I have to say, those French don't make it easy on genealogists!!

As with your DeMarce's, the Boucher name could be: Bousha; Boucha; Bushey; Bushy; Butcher; etc. It takes a lot of perserverance to find them.
