I would love to see what you have! Sarah & John have been my "brick wall" for some time now. I did find very little on them through the SW Genealogical & Historical Society - their marriage certificate and a copy of their listings in the 1870 and 1880 Census. In 1870, John was listed as a shoemaker, from New Hampshire, 39 years old. Sarah ws listed as "home keeping", age 26, born in LA. Sarah was supposed to have a connection to a Christopher Adams, LA congressman and founder of the railroad that was built in LA at that time.
Oddly, the 1880 Census on them had John's age as 60, Sarah's as 40. The children's ages were all correct.
