will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Col. Duick B. Worley, father of Mrs. Nelson Demorest, died at her home, 1122 Sixth Street Thursday afternoon. The funeral service were held in Macy’s undertaking rooms at 1:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Frank M. Sheldon conducting the services. The body was then shipped to York, Neb, the old home of the Worleys, Mrs. Demorest accompanying the remains. Col. Worley had been making his home with his daughter for the past year and a half. He was over eighty-one years old, and was active physically and mentally up to a short time before his death. He was a musician of considerable note and even after his eightieth year composed several selections for the piano.
A large number of the G.A.R. members, of which order deceased was also a member, were present at the services.
