I am running into problems everywhere I turn with my Denbo ancestors. My ggrandmother was supposed to have been Martha Ann Denbo--Martha Ann Loncie Fair as she was called--who married William Riley Pritchett and lived in Hopkins Co. TX. But on the 1900 Hopkins Co. census, it has William's wife as Allsy. Allsy's mother lived with them and her last name was spelled Denbow on the census. Her first name began with an R, but I can't make out the rest. Headstones for the Denbos in Yantis Cemetery (where Martha Ann and William are buried)don't have the "w".
They are:
James Leroy--b.4/12/1878, d. 8/13/1953
M.T. Denbo b. 1881, d. 1916 (possibly Mary Tara???)
Cora Denbo b. 3/15/1881, d. 4/28/1959
Martha Ann was born 6/10/1870 and died 7/15/1956.
Have you ever run across any of these Denbos in your searching? And who this Allsy might turn out to be???I am at my wits end and would be so very grateful if you could add even a shred of a clue!
