Nathaniel Norfleet - Palmer/Denby Plantation

I am looking for the homeplace/plantation of Nathaniel Norfleet (1745? - 1836) Originally from Nansemond County, VA which is present day Perquimans County, NC. He was the land grantor for both Wheeler's Primitive and Clement Baptist. He was a large landholder and merchant in Person County, NC. When looking at deeds for a possible location I viewed his first purchase as the potential site of the homeplace. Norfleet bought property 640 acres including a plantation from Elizah Denby in 1797. Denby had purchased the same from Joseph Palmer in 1793. So infact it was originally Palmer's plantation. The names mentioned as those adj to the property included, Neal McAllister, Johnston Steel, Robert Dickens, William McKisack, Benjamin Jacobs. The "Double Creek of Hyco" as well as Flat River were mentioned and Norfleet was in the St. James District of the county. If anyone could help me in the location of his property or any further information about Norfleet, I would greatly appreciate it.
