Re: Carlota Maria Denby and Barton Allen - They were my maternal great-great-grandparents. They were married in Brazil, had their first three or four children there and then moved to England, where the rest of the family was born and raised (Royal Leamington Spa). I have lots of info on this family - Frank Allen, their youngest son, married his first wife in England and they emigrated to the US - probably to Minnesota, where their first four children, including my grandmother, Edith, was born. I could go on in great detail but, as your post is five years old, I don't know if you are still pursuing this...
