Hi Marcia,

I think you and I are tracking the same Dendy's. I looking for info on Joel Dendy who has a son buried at Haynes creek Cem. in Gwinnett Co. Ga. The Joel I'm looking for Died i believe around 1881. His 2nd or 3rd wife was the mother of my great great grand mother, Fanny (Francis) Thomas. I have been told that Fanny lived near her mother in Alabama and have the 1880 census records showing her and her husband in Cherokee Co. AL. Fanny remarried in 1885 and moved back to Gwinnett Co GA. Any info you can share would be great.
