Looking for information on the descendants of Larkin M. Dendy (1813 SC - abt 1876 TX), son of Thomas C. Dendy and Elizabeth Cason. Larkin Dendy was married twice: (1) married Dec. 9, 1849 in Cherokee Co., TX, to Sarah Elizabeth Box (b. 1834 MS - d. bef Dec. 1859 TX). She was the daughter of William S. Box and Malina Palmer. And (2) married Dec. 8, 1859 in Cherokee Co., TX, to Margaret Edgar (b. 1833 TN - d. unknown). She was the daughter of Alexander Edgar and Jane Faulkner. Children listed for Larkin Dendy in the 1870 census were Ophelia, William M., John T., Elizabeth, Mary F., Larkin, Arthur, and Walter. Larkin and Sarah Box Dendy's son, William M., was my gg grandfather.
