We are talking about 2 different people. The Thomas Jefferson Dendy I was referring to is Thomas J. Dendy, Sr. He was the one married to Mary Ann Jones 19 Jun 1827. They had the following children:

Louisa Anne Dendy b. Dec 1840 in LA - d.1934 in Vernon Psh, LA - m. Abraham Rinkle Dowden 23 Dec 1856 in Sabine Psh (my line)
Thomas Dendy b.8 Jan 1842 in LA - d.8 Apr 1864 in LA
Martha A. Dendy b.c.1844 in LA - m. Francis M. Ford 6 Feb 1862 in Sabine Psh.
Theodore Dendy b.c.1849 in LA
