You've confused William Gallanus Dendy with his father, William Dendy II. William Dendy II married Martha "Patsy" Winn (daughter of Gallanus Winn), and they were the PARENTS of William Gallanus Dendy. Martha "Patsy" Winn's husband William had NO middle name -- the Gallanus middle name came from Patsy's father, so her husband wouldn't have had that as a middle name anyway. I have documentation to support this. I descend from BOTH William Dendy I and his brother Thomas Dendy, so I've done lots of research on the Dendys over the years.
