Hi Roger,

Marie Denis who married Jean Baillargeon was the dtr of Pierre and Marie Gaudin.

PIERRE DENIS "dit" Denis ou Lapierre, was the son of BLAISE & JEANNE LAPONCHE, de St-Martin, ville de Layrac, diocèse de Condom, GASCOGNE.

PIERRE DENIS "Denys" "Lapierre" married MARIE GAUDIN, dtr of CHARLES & MARIE BOUCHER.

PIERRE DENIS & MARIE GAUDIN were married in Ange-Gardien on October 8, 1687.

While PIERRE DENIS appears to have arrived around 1687, MARIE GAUDIN's parents were here before.

CHARLES GAUDIN was the son of JACQUES & MARGUERITE NIARD de St-Laurent-de-Beauménil, Commune de St-Gervais-du Perron (Orne) NORMANDIE. He is the ancestor of Cardinal Léger, Etienne Parent and Sir Pierre Laurent Damase Evariste Leblanc.

CHARLES GAUDIN married MARIE BOUCHER, dtr of MARIN & PERINNE MALET in Quebec on November 6, 1656.

MARIN BOUCHER from St Jean de Mortagne, PERCHE married PÉRINNE MALET, dtr of PIERRE & JACQUETTE LEGER de Courgeon, diocèse de Sées, PERCHE in France in 1629. No parents were mentioned for MARIN BOUCHER.

This information is taken from the "Dictionaire National des Canadiens francais 1608-1760" Intstitut Drouin.

Hope this has helped you out.

Lorraine
