Hi GA, thanks for the information about the manifest at the Ellis Island files. When I checked it some weeks ago the (right) original manifest wasn't available. Erich DENNHARDT overcame his "death". He was again with his parents to America in 1909. The five sons of Albert from Dornburg were Max, Oskar (my GG-father), Walther, Otto and Albert. Otto came back to Germany after a short stay in America. The others went to Pennsylvania, may be, Albert to Wisconsin. Oskar left a son in Germany - my grandfather. The five brother were born as I know between 1863 and 1873, so that I think it's unlikely that Albert could have another son Julius born in 1886. I try to find out parents and brothers of Albert from Dornburg in the Citizen rolls for Apolda.
