I believe that indian blood ( if any ) on the Peoples side would have to have come from Eli William Peoples Grandmother, Sarah Unknown, b.1806 N.C. d. 1890 Marshal, Searcy Co. Ar.

--2 Wm. M.Peoples b.Feb1828 McNairy Co.Tn. d. aft.1800 Ar.
------m/ Sarah Jane Anderson b.1844 d. Feb.10 1898
---3-Eli Peoples b. 1884 d. 1944

At the most, I belive if Eli William People had any indian blood he would only be a quarter blood.
When I was a child ( years ago ) I was told I was part indian ( as I believe most children were told ). Since doing genealogy since about 1955 I haven't been able to find any in my line.
