I am searching for a connection to my Gr-grandfather Sabado DePasquale. Does this story sound familar to anyone. The oral history that I have Claims that Sabado came from a rather educated family, in Italy(not Sicly)he was serving in the miatary became wounded and shipped home after recovering the military wanted him back onthe front lines again and he deserted in N.Africa somewhere and jumped a ship to Canada. Arriving in the USA later. He settled In Suffolk County Boston Mass. In the"North End" Census records show him living on Prince St in 1890 And Hull St in 1910 listed immigration date as 1888. It is believed that he had relitives that immigrated to U.S. also. Athough I've never had any contact with anyone. Sabado only had one son,my grandfather Anthony. If anyone Knows anything about the history of this ellusive branch of DePasquales please feel free to contact me thank you.
