It is very possible my father, Howard W. Derby is the author. He had done extensive research begining before WWI on our Derby line and other lines. We lived in San Francisco and he died there in 1968. When my mother moved to Oregon I seem to remember she turned over some of his material to a library. I recall the name "Derbyshire" but have no mention of the name in the data I have. What there was left of his original research is in my brothers hands, who I should be seeing in several weeks. Sutro would have been a logical place for my mother to send his reasearch. I would of course recognized his hand writing. Paul Derby
