A history of the Thomas Derby family (Stow, MA) is being auctioned on Ebay at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1466744440

The description reads:
Bromley, Viola A. Derby.
Derby Genealogy. Being a Record
of the Descendants of Thomas Derby
of Stow, Massachusetts. New York:
Grafton Press (Genealogical Pub-
lishers), 1905. First edition.
An unnumbered copy of a limited
edition of only 200 copies. 8vo,
142 pages. This genealogy presents
nine generations in the male line
of descent from Thomas Derby of
Stow, Massachusetts. Little reliable
data exists for Thomas Derby prior
to 1684, when Thomas removed from
Concord, Massachusetts to Stow.
He served under Capt. Joseph Sill
as a Narragansett soldier in King
Philip's War (1676). Thomas Darby
was granted a lot in Stow, June,
1684; Thomas Darby was elected
as a deacon of the Stow Church,
1706. He is known to have fathered
seven children before the death of
his wife, Mary, in 1727. Thomas
is believed to have died before
December 29, 1749. His descendants
are traced through the families
of his two sons, John (b. 1687)
and Robert (d. 1759). A section
of the text is devoted to nineteen
Derby families not conclusively
placed in the lines discussed.
Includes an index of names. A
hardcover genealogy in fine
condition.
