Greetings eveyrone!

I have just started a DNA Project for the Derby surname (and variant spellings).

Anyone interested or just curious about the project is most welcomed to email me directly at:

I've been researching the Derby line in my family for over 37 yrs and have a dead-end. DNA testing is a good way to break through that brick wall.

My Charles Rufus Derby line was in Addison Co, VT by 1800. There were other Derbys in the same town of Bridport, but we cannot find a paper trail to connect them. DNA testing is a way to prove or disprove a family connection.

If you have any questions on DNA testing, just ask.

Thank you,
