Hello, again. I just wanted to let all of you know that the Derby DNA Project is growing. We have added two new testers in the last couple of weeks and expect their results in about 5-6 weeks or sooner. We are making every effort to test as many different Derby lines as possible so researchers can determine which branches have a common ancestor and which do not. Once again, Genetic Genealogy does not tell you the common ancestor's name or when and where he lived, but it can sure help you save time and money by knowing to whom you do connect and to whom you don't. ALSO, we have had people who share lineages and find their cousins with whom they can research. Anyone is welcomed to test if they are a male carrying the Derby surname, but every Derby/Darby, etc. researcher who is interested in this newer genealogical tool, can email me directly to be placed on a contact list in my Outlook Express which will give you updates on the testing. (You won't be getting a lot of email and only from me.) See the project at: www.familytreedna.com/public/Derby Email me at: aulicino@hevanet.com Best wishes for a successful genealogical New Year!
