My mom had an uncle John Randolph Derby that lived in Phoebus. He died in 1970 in Hampton Virginia. As my mom remembers, he moved to Florida for a short time when he separated from his wife but returned to Phoebus. He was known as as "Daredevil Derby". John's father was William Henry Derby he died on April 22 1944. John's son was Johnny who we believe is still alive living in Surrey county Virginia. He also had a daughter named Jackie who we believe is still alive as well.
John had a brother named Henry G Derby who died May 24th 1934. Henry has a son named Frank that lives in Maryland today.
