George N. Derby, wife Ida Ross Derby, both born 1871, lived Cheshire Co., NH

I have two original Cabinet Card photographs of “George N. Derby” and “Ida Ross Derby”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photos were both taken in Keene (Cheshire Co.) NH by the same photographer. On the back of Ida’s photo is written “Ida Ross, wife of George N. Derby” and “Daughter of A. M. and Lizzie Ross”. Ida and George look to be in their 20s in the photos.

I found George and Ida in the 1900 census for Cheshire Co., NH, showing them as son in law and daughter of Adolphus M. Ross and wife Lizzie M. Ross. George was born May 1871 NH, and Ida on Jan 1871 VT. In 1910 & 1920, George N. and Ida G. lived in Hillsborough Co., NH, but by 1930, George N. age 58, was married to “Cora G.” Derby, age 45, showing they were married in 1926. George and Ida had no children I could locate; I assume Ida had passed away by 1926.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to George N. or Ida G. Derby.
