I am looking for my grandmothers family. She was born Oscarine Emily Deridder on 6-19-1896
in Belgium to Sylivian and Marie (Merchand)
Deridder.She had a sister named Lydia and a brother named Frank. They came to the U.S.A. when she was a child and settled in to Crawford Co.Kansas because of the coal mining. Sylvian was born 10-1-1867 in Belgium and died 4-4-1909 at Cherokee Kansas and is buried at Hosey Hill Cem. in Weir Kansas. Marie was born 9-22-1870 in Belgium and died 6-27-1940. in Ringo,Kansas she is buried by her second husband,Fernand Boisdrenghien, in Girard,Kansas.Lyida married a Trumbull and died 6-17-1970 and is buried in Girard as well. Frank was born 5-2-1904 and died 12-30-1987. My grandmother married William Masterson on 11-18-1914 in Cherokee County Kansas. They had three boys and a girl, my mother, all born in Scammon,Kansas. In 1929 they moved to Harthsorne Oklahoma, in 1946 my grandfather died and Oscarine died on 12-25-1982 in McAlester,Okla. This is my home also. If anyone has any info. out there I would love to here from you. I would like to trace back to Belgium and France. Thank you. Barbara
