Marion E. (Derosier) Tetreault, 95, formerly of 27 Mt. Vernon St., Worcester, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Beaumont Nursing Center, Worcester.
Her husband Henry J. Tetreault Jr. died in 1980. She leaves four sons, Robert and his wife Ann of Leicester, Thomas and his wife Donna of Somersworth, N.H., John and his wife Sandra of Northborough, Lawrence and his wife Patricia of Worcester; three daughters, Helen E. LeFrancois of Worcester, Nancy Joiner of North Brookfield and Linda Duffy and her husband Stephen of Worcester; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Her children, David and Elizabeth, and her 12 siblings predeceased her.
Marion was born in Worcester, daughter of George and Ethel (Bruyea) Derosier.
She was a lifelong devoted Red Sox fan. She loved traveling, visiting Foxwoods, playing cards and completing crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Auburn, and was a lifelong member of the former St. Margaret Mary Parish in Worcester.
Marion's children wish to thank the Beaumont Nursing Center staff and the Salmon Hospice staff for the dedicated, skilled and compassionate care they provided for their mother.
The funeral will be held Saturday, May 8, from the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. There are no calling hours.
