I'm looking for a so-far-mythical female DeRossett who might have been the mother of my 2nd (?) greatgrandfather, Stephen Brindley. Stephen was born somewhere around 1812-1820, possibly in Chestnut Mound, Smith Co, TN. He once told someone his mother "was a DeRossett". That's all the connection we have. So his mother likely would had to have been born around 1790-ish (depending on which child Stephen was). Any hints about this in your family tree? Darla Broberg
