No, I am a several counties in southeastern Kentucky and Lee County, Virginia DeRossett. My grandfather Willis Franklin was born in Coal Creek, Lake City, Tn but moved to Kentucky by 1902 judging by the birthplace of his first child. His father, also Willis was born in 1826 in Virginia. I can't seem to get past him and have over 1900 names going several different directions. In a newspaper article Preston said his family moved from France in the 1600s and went to Pennsylvania. Preston was in Bath Co Ky before 1870 and Menifee after 1870. I have not had any luck looking in Pennsylvania for DeRossetts no matter how I spell it.
