Hi, my husband's De Rossett ancestors were in Columbia County, Arkansas in 1860 and 1870. Henry L. DeRossett, bn. about 1800,TN and Eliza (Byrd) DeRossett, bn. 1808, TN.

Their oldest daughter, Rebecca Jane DeRossett, bn. 1832. was my husband's Great Grandmother.

Since Columbus, Arkansas (just barely north of Columbia County)was mentioned in this letter, I wonder if these Walkers were related to our Rebecca Jane DeRossett (Payne, Smith)?

Do you have other information on the family of Georgia Walker Thomas?
