Since for some reason we are not able to email direct, Jimmy would you let me know if the basic tree I list below is accurate as to your research please? (also welcome anyone else's input)
1)Samuel(1690-1760
2)Samuel(1740-1802)
3)Samuel(1763- )=Mary Polly Solomon
4)Solomon(1797-1822)=Clarinda Dunbar(1801- )
4)James(1799- )=Millie Rose(1820)
4)Preston(1809- )=Lucinda Benson(1832)
4) apparently 3 daughters as well?
3)Daniel(1760-1774?)
3)Lewis?
I am also wondering who fathered Solomon(1829-1884=Elizabeth Gray Hammons) and Tolbert(aka Taulbie, 1830?)
Some research led me to think they were offspring of Solomon and Clarinda but the dates don't match up. If they are offspring of James and Millie Rose, were they also siblings of Thomas Jefferson and Elizabeth?
I have lines running in every direction *S* but still pretty new to all this so will get them straight in time.
Jimmy, I am going to try harder this next trip the last week of April to get together with you (and maybe Edna) and compare notes.
