Maybe this will help. I believe Solomon, James and Preston were brothers. Solomon born was 1793 and died 1830. Unverified history has it when he died Clarinda was pregnant with Surrelda. Solomon and Clarinda had Amesthea, Clarinda, Solomon (1829-1884), and Surrelda. Solomon (1829-1884) married Nancy Robinson (1835-1859) Their daughter Rebecca Jane b Aug 8, 1859 so she may have died in chldbirth. He then married Elizabeth Hammonds (various spellings) and they had Sarah, Tristam, James (Victory Gray), Tolbert, Solomon(1863-1934)Meduca(various spellings), Kate, Jackson, William, Callie, and Jefferson.
