Daniel DeRossett, bn. abt 1765, and Nancy Wheat, married Aug 24, 1792 at Henry County, VA and had 7 known children. John, William, Lewis, Willis, Philip, Henry L., and Benjamin. My husband descends from Henry L. DeRossett through his daughter Rebecca Jane DeRossett, bn abt 1830.
I, too, thought it would be nice to have more info on Nancy Wheat. In looking for her, I found a WHEAT-L MAILING LIST, a number of Wheat Genealogy Homepages, and some Data Bases, but did not nail down anything specifically on Nancy. I am sure there is Nancy information in there, but my time got distracted onto something else.
If it would help, I will go back and see if I saved any of this on Word where I could forward it to you. If all else fails, I will snail mail the pages to you.
