I am trying to locate the parents of Lavena (Vina) Rozella (Rose) Lee who married Elias Derossett. I have contradictory facts on the various web sites like roots web.com, etc. I have examined the cenus from 1850, 1860, and 1880. I am sure that she was born in 1832-33 and that her father was born in Tennessee and her mother North 0r South Carolina. I have found references to a Robert J. Lee, but no proof. The ones who say her parents were James H. and Polly have not not looked beyond the cenus that has similar names. I have a lot of information that I would be glad to share with anyone who can clear up this mystery for me. I can be reached at glendakhayes@yahoo.com.
